Working with us
- Who do you sell to?
- absolutely is a wholesale knitwear line, open to retailers, boutiques, and stockists. We are trade-only at the moment — there is no direct-to-consumer shop.
- How do I open an account?
- Send us a note with your store name, location, and the categories you carry. We will come back with the current line sheet and everything needed to set you up.
- What are your minimums and terms?
- Minimums, pricing, and payment terms vary by style and season, and are confirmed on the line sheet before anything is written. Ask and we will send the current sheet for the season you are buying.
Samples
- Can I see the knits in person?
- Yes — that is what the sample request is for. Add the styles you want to see from any collection page and send the request; no account needed. Our team confirms the details and arranges the samples with you.
- Can we meet the collection in person?
- We show the line by appointment and at selected trade dates. Get in touch and we will find a time that works, in the showroom or wherever you are.
The line
- How do absolutely knits fit?
- The pieces are cut for an easy, lived-in fit — not too slim, not oversized. Each style carries its own fit description and a full measurement chart, so you can plan a size run with confidence.
- What size runs and colorways do you offer?
- Size runs and the season’s colorways are listed per style on the line sheet. If you need a run adjusted for your customer, tell us — we would rather get it right for your floor.
- Will the knits hold their shape?
- That is the point. We choose yarns and a knit construction built to hold shape through the wash and the wear, so the piece your customer buys stays the piece they keep.
Materials & care
- What are absolutely pieces made of?
- Natural and natural-blend fibers chosen for hand-feel and longevity. The exact composition is listed for every style, so your team can answer it on the floor without guessing.
- What care should we pass on?
- Most pieces are happiest hand-washed cool or on a gentle cycle in a mesh bag, then laid flat to dry. Every piece carries its own care label, and the same guidance is on the line sheet for your staff.
- What should we say about pilling?
- A little pilling is normal for natural fibers early on, and it settles after the first few wears. A sweater comb or fabric shaver keeps a piece looking new — gently, in one direction.
Branding & labels
- How is the line labelled?
- Every piece carries the woven neck label and hang tag from our brand kit, in the colorway that suits the garment. Size, care, fiber and origin sit on separate legally-required labels.
- Can we see the brand assets?
- Yes — the full brand kit, including artwork and production specs for the label and hang tag, is available on request for anyone merchandising or producing the line.
